The top ten fastest cars in the world - Top10Zen

Top 10 fastest cars
Automotive performance engineering has come a long way from the days of the first petrol-powered automobile - the Präsident, which was manufactured in 1897, Europe and had a top speed of around 30 km/h (19 mph). If you were to tell the folks back then that within a measly 100 years we'd be shooting down the runway at speeds exceeding 400 km/h, they'd probably have stuck you in the looney bin.
Yeah, we know: there's nothing like driving a fast car through an empty highway late at night; just you and the road. Some of us thrive on the adrenaline; others love the bad-ass feeling of being seen driving an expensive sports car. Only a lucky few can boast about having driven one of the cars in today's list, but for the rest of us - we'll have to settle for amazing pictures and a glazed, daydreaming look in our eyes.
